Deleting your
Signalment account.

01 How to delete it

From the web app

1. Sign in at signalment.ai/app.
2. Click your name in the top bar to open the account page, or go straight to signalment.ai/app?account=1.
3. Scroll to Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and press the button.

From the recorder app

Tap Delete account in the footer of the recording screen. It opens the same account page in your browser, signed in as you.

By email

If you cannot sign in, email hello@signalment.ai from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

02 What deletion removes

Deleting the account deletes, at once:

• Every record you have drafted, with its exam notes, its client and patient names, and the model output.
• Every recording: the audio still held for transcription, the transcripts, and the rows in the Today list.
• Every document and image you have attached to a case, whether or not it was ever drafted from.
• Your account details — your email address, your name and your profile picture as Google gave them to us.

Your subscription is cancelled with Stripe at the same time, and your customer record there is deleted. If the cancellation fails, nothing is deleted and the app tells you, so that you are never left paying for an account you have removed.

03 What is kept

One row survives, holding your Google account identifier, the date of the deletion, how many free notes and recordings the account had used, and whether it had taken the free trial. It exists so that a deleted account cannot be made again to take a second trial. It carries no email address, no name, and no clinical content.

Deletion from live systems is immediate. Encrypted backups roll off on their own schedule, so a deleted item can persist in a backup for a short period; we do not restore deleted content from backups except to recover from a failure of the whole system.

Product analytics events are pseudonymous and are not tied to your name or email. They expire 400 days after they are recorded. Section 8 of the privacy policy lists every retention period.

04 Deleting less than everything

You do not have to delete the account to remove your content. Any record can be deleted on its own from the app at any time, and any recording can be dismissed from the Today list. Transcripts and their rows expire 30 days after the visit whether you draft from them or not.
